Look, I want to be a bit revealing in my public remarks without "airing dirty laundry"... because I want to see WebDNA thrive some day... Chris and I had to deal with a *very* tight budget at times as well as limited resources at times. Also, I don't think it's a secret that Chris is invested, perhaps more than any other, in this venture. So, I don't take anything away from his contribution, nor his decisions that have obviously been considered carefully by him considering his major investment... but, so far, Dan's videos are the *only* clever marketing that WSC has done... and WSC didn't do them! ;-) We talked about many things, but talk isn't action. Yes, our initial effort with marketing (MacWorld) was not as productive as hoped (which I take responsibility for, and which I think Christophe was not happy about). But, it *was* allocating resources towards the number 1 concern... marketing. One or two other things were tried that didn't work very well... but WSC's marketing should not halt just because of a couple less-than-desired efforts, right!? Live, learn, then try again. Clever and roll-up-the-sleeves marketing is the only reason that "ISP's [server owners and administrators] are not buying our product" (paraphrasing). Note, I would disagree and say that we are indeed making sales to ISP's. Look, WebDNA is still here because of the talk list members... and I think it's important at this time, to get your input. WebDNA is not in trouble so to speak, but it is my opinion that Chris could use some real help with the venture. He may or may not be asking.. but as a shareholder, I am asking. I've had my fill for a while.. ;-).. so maybe someone else out there is in the position, or has the desire to come forward? Chris has always been open to listening to that kind of thing I think.. so I suggest anyone that may want to help WebDNA out.. time, money, position with the company.. to talk to Christohpe. For "WebDNA's Future". (how's that for bold remarks without airing dirty laundry?) ;-) Donovan -- Donovan Brooke Euca Design Center [Practical-Ethical-Efficient] www.euca.us egg.bz artglass-forum.com Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
