texte = Hello all.I am new to using webcatalog and I have been able thus far, to do what I wanted using the templates and modifying them(and a some help from John of Pacific-Coast). Through this process I have been able to do some (basic) things like write specific data to my own data base on my own. Now, though, I do not want to use the templates and want to do something quite basic. (Have to start somewhere). I have a site that has a guest book and now have decided that (finally) I want to write these email addresses to a database using webcatalog. While I can get this information from the store - when someone makes a purchase, I do not seem to be able to follow the process back through the templates to figure out the simple basics that I need to do this on a stand alone page. (write to my database using post)If there is someone who has a snippet that they could send me or point me to that would allow me to take a few steps back so that I can understand on my own from the beginning, the basic webcatalog process. I do not find the manual particulary easy and have found the online resources much better. Thanks for taking the time to help a beginner.I am on the digest list, so a direct email would be fantastic.D.David BastedoInteractive ProducerThink Interactive416.260.4918david@thinkitup.com
