texte = You're right, but in my experience to date, doing a simple append to like a 5 or 10 meg database will completely lockup Webcat for several minutes.So I've always avoided doing massive writes/replaces/appends like plague.If I could do a single search in SQL, and not lockup the primary web server doing it, that would be good.On Mac OS, spawn has never worked right, and while I'm planning on implementing this on OSX on a DP 533 or maybe even a DP xserve, I'm a little reluctant to try and write out that much data.--a little while later--Well, I just did a test, (on my powerbook mind you) and webcat wrote a 500k line file to 37 MB file in 1986 ticks.
