The CGI/FasctCGI version is definitely on our list of priorities. Videos too. And a Database powerful administrator too: i already made a proposal to you all for this one. Those of you ready to implement large chunks of global WebDNA applications should contact us privately. Olin idea to make WebDNA database engine available to other languages is an interesting idea. We have to think about it. About booting from a CD, this would mean several CD versions with an OS copy for every single system on the CD (presumably a DVD, as an OS does not fit anymore in a CD) and this idea seems a little bit "difficult" to implement. Windows or OSX would just not boot like this, let alone the licensing rights from Microsoft. Also, writing to the disk would not be possible and WebDNA would need a specific RAM- only version with prebuilt examples and databases since the user would have no way to write hiw own examples in RAM. If the idea is to allow newcomers to test WebDNA right away without modifying their disk, an interative online version would probably be better, expanding Gary's idea. A bundled version with a small footprint webserver (Lighttpd, LiteSpeed, Nginx...) would make a small (but fast and powerful) application server. - chris On Oct 10, 2008, at 2:03, Gary Krockover wrote: > How about adding a development and testing section to the webdna.us > site?
