Doc files that are pretty much lacking in anymarketing design or brand equity utilization. Couple that with the'conflicts' of previous statements and intentions of the release and what itlooks like is rushed announcement brought on by corporate pressure to useefforts to have positive company financial and PR positions. (not that thereis anything inherently wrong with that... Its business after all)Again, I know that nothing I have sated is really 'provable' and it caneasily be dismissed as coincidence, arm chair quarterbacking, 20/20hindsight, or even just plain wrong, but none the less, I thought I wouldshare that we predicted this weeks ago (Feb 6th to be exact).Oh well, like I said, all speculation, and not really list material so Irefrained. Coming from someone who is on 4.x, as are the customers that usetheir own copies of software because of us, I am glad that we waited. Lookslike the most cost effective upgrade (if it ever happens at this point) willbe to 6 or even 7.xNo more flames from me... Just seemed so obvious to us I felt I would offersome perspective. In my mind, customers should NEVER be in a position of commonly questioningtheir commitment level to a product. Re-evaluating your positions andbenefits is something we all should do... Far more often than many of us do(me more than most)... But it seems that that struggling with 'secondguessing' commitments is a unfortunate trend here.Oh well... Back into working 4.x into what we need daily.AJM(sorry for the rant)Alex J McCombie New World MediaChief Information Officer Box 124888/892.6379 MartVille, NY 13111Alex@NewWorldMedia.com http://OurClients.comInterface Designer WebDNA Programmer Database Designer-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .To unsubscribe, E-mail to: To switch to the DIGEST mode, E-mail to Web Archive of this list is at: http://webdna.smithmicro.com/
