texte = It would be nice to have a one way encryption feature similar to what perl has to make authentication easier for those of us that choose not to use the native WebDNA encryption. It works like so:The first to characters of encrypted data are the salt of the password.. So if you have:a1UWiRTyW0t/QThen the salt is a1..So to check a password you take input from the user as to what they think it is, encrypt that word with the salt, then compare the 2 encrypted passwords. It works nicely and is fairly secure since there is no decrypt feature.I would like it..>Can you fix the [encrypt] or add some flag like [encrypt format=7bit] so>that the nasty characters won't be in the output stream requiring the use of>double URLs around every encrypt I use?>>Than You!!!!>>--Jereme Claussen jeremec@darkhorse.comWeb Developer Dark Horse Comics503.652.8815.330 http://www.dhorse.com/I mustn't fear..
